Email Server Agents

The following requirements are for the Exchange and Domino email server agents:

Exchange server agent

Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, 2007 or 2010

Note: CA DLP integration with Exchange 2007 and 2010 requires MAPI. Also, the Exchange 2007 or 2010 server agent must be installed on each Hub Transport Server in the Active Directory site.

Domino server agent

Lotus Domino 7.0.2, 8 or 8.5

Note: CA DLP only supports 32-bit versions of these releases. 64-bit versions are not currently supported.

Note: Integration has been tested using the Domino versions listed above. It may work with other versions, but these have not been tested.

IIS SMTP

IIS 6.0

Note: CA DLP integration with IIS requires MAPI Client and Collaboration Data Objects (CDO) 1.2.1.

PE domain user

The PE domain user must be a member of the local Administrators group on the machine hosting the policy engine hub and email server agent. Confirm that this is so before installing the policy engine hub.
