Event Import and Import Policy Machines

The following requirements are for Event Import and Import Policy host machines:

Host server

Install Event Import and Import Policy on a gateway server.

Exchange Import Operations

The Event Import host machine must be running an Exchange-compatible e‑mail application such as Outlook 2003, 2007 or 2010.

Important! This must be the default email application on the host machine.

Note: For .PST import operations, see the Outlook requirement in Event Import Types.

Notes Import Operations

The Event Import host machine must be running Lotus Notes 7, 8, or 8.5.

Email Server

Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, 2007 or 2010

Lotus Domino 7.0.2, 8, or 8.5
