Tracking ID 528-14: IE Endpoint Agents Fail To Analyze File Uploads In Internet Explorer 8
Previously on computers running Internet Explorer 8 (IE8), the CA DLP Internet Explorer endpoint agent was unable to apply policy to files being uploaded to a Web site (including files sent as attachments to Webmails such as Hotmail or Gmail). The problem was caused by a security feature built into IE8. The CA DLP endpoint agent has now been modified so that the problem is fixed (that is, policy is applied to uploads in IE8).
