Integration Requirements

The following components are needed for integration with IBM DB2 CommonStore.

Oracle 9i client or IBM DB2 Run-Time Client: You need to install the database client that corresponds with your installation of IBM DB2 Content Manager. If using Oracle, only version 9i is compatible.
IBM Information Integrator for Content: This IBM component must be installed on the RDM server before you install RDM.
Universal Adapter: The UA needs to be installed on a separate machine and configured to retrieve e‑mails from the Exchange Journal, and forward them on an Exchange mailbox.
RDM and CA DLP IBM Content Manager Interface: You now need to install the Remote Data Manager (RDM), and the CA DLP IBM Content Manager Interface component, using the CA DLP server installation wizard.
Import Policy: This utility retrieves email events extracted from the UA, applies policy to them and then imports them into the CMS.
