2. Install Your License File

After installing CA DLP, you may need to install a license file before you can start using the product. Your license file unlocks the CA DLP policy modules available to your organization.

To obtain a license file

Contact Technical Support and quote your installation code. The license file uses this code to authenticate your CA DLP installation. See CA Technical Support.

To find your installation code, choose Tools, Install license file in the Administration console. The Install License File dialog shows your installation code.

To install a license file

  1. In the Administration console, choose Tools > Install license file.
  2. Select your license file and click Install.

As soon as your CA DLP installation is authenticated, your licensed policy modules are unlocked and available to use
