Before you can run the NBA in active mode, you need to assign an IP address to port that the NBA uses to connect to CA DLP policy engines.
On Bivio 2000 appliances, this is data inspection port s0.e2. See below for details of how to assign an IP address to this port.
On Bivio 7000 appliances, this is the management port. If you have already assigned a suitable IP address to this port, no further configuration is needed. A 'suitable' IP address is one that provides access to the network segment hosting the CA DLP policy engines.
To assign an IP address to port s0.e2
(Required for Bivio 2000 appliances only.)
Supply an IP address for port s0.e2. This address must be on the same subnet as your policy hub and policy engines and on a different subnet to the management port. For example: 10.0.12.8.
Supply a subnet mask for the network segment on which the NBA is located.
