Group Buffer Pool

These group buffer pool metrics are reported for each monitored DB2 Data Sharing Group:

Page Data Reads: Displays the number of pages that member subsystems read from the group buffer pool during the last polling interval.
Page Empty Reads: Displays the number of times that member subsystems read from the group buffer pool but could not find the data during the last polling interval.
Page Read Efficiency: Displays the ratio of read requests from member subsystems where data was returned to total read requests during the last polling interval. A low hit ratio indicates that the average time that a page resides in the group buffer pool is too short.
Write Failures: Displays the number of coupling facility write requests from member subsystems that could not complete during the last polling interval. A lack of coupling facility storage resources causes the incompletion.
