Remote Connections with User Account Control

User Account Control (UAC) filtering occurs depending on whether the target remote computer is in a domain or in a work group.

If the target computer is part of a domain:

Connect to the target using a domain account that is in the local administrators group of the remote computer.

If the target computer is part of a work group:

Create a dedicated local user group or user account on the target computer specifically for remote connections.
