Audit Data

Audit data provides a historical record of operations that occur in a CA ControlMinder Enterprise Management environment. Some examples of audit data include the following:

• System activity for a specified period.
• A list of objects that were modified during a specific period.
• The roles assigned to a user
• The operations performed for a particular user account

Audit data is generated for events. An event is an operation that is generated by a CA ControlMinder Enterprise Management task. For example, the Create User task can include an AssignAccessRoleEvent event.

CA ControlMinder Enterprise Management stores audit data in the central database. You can configure an audit collector to route audit data to CA Enterprise Log Manager.
