Reset a User Password
Reset a user password when a user account was locked after several failed login attempts, or when the user has lost or forgot the password.
To reset a user password
- In CA Access Control Enterprise Management, click Users and Groups.
The Reset User Password appears in the list of available tasks.
- Click Reset User Password.
The Reset User Password search page opens.
- Type in the search query and click Search.
The query displays the results according to the search criteria.
- Select the user account and click Select.
The reset password window opens.
- Type in the account password in the Confirm Password field.
- (Optional) Select the Password Must Change option.
- Click Submit.
CA Access Control Enterprise Management resets the user password.
