A filter defines the conditions that must be met when an event is detected in order for an action or set of actions to be dispatched. In order to notify users of events, you must define who is to be notified, how, when, and about which events. These criteria are defined as filters in the configuration database.
A copy of the default set of Console Manager filters supplied with Console Manager is in:
