Create Image Actions

This section assumes that you are familiar with the style of the C programming language and the concepts used.

There are two ways in which to write an action routine as an image:

The routine behaves in the same way as a command procedure; that is, event attributes are passed on the command line.
The routine receives the information about an event and all subsequent events that satisfy the filter definition through the interprocess communications (IPC) mechanism.
