Create Image Actions
This section assumes that you are familiar with the style of the C programming language and the concepts used.
There are two ways in which to write an action routine as an image:
- The routine behaves in the same way as a command procedure; that is, event attributes are passed on the command line.
- The routine receives the information about an event and all subsequent events that satisfy the filter definition through the interprocess communications (IPC) mechanism.
