The Customization File

The C3 interface maintains a text file in your home directory (SYS$LOGIN) that stores customized display information such as background color, icon placement and text, so that you are able to customize your own C3 display. This file is known as the C3 configuration file, and is automatically generated and updated when you choose the Save menu item from the Options pulldown menu. This file is stored given the following name:

CONSOLE$C3.DAT

Note: Modifying this file from anything other than the C3 interface will prevent the C3 interface from working. However, if you want to revert to your default settings, you can delete this file.
