Locating a Serviced System

To locate a particular system on your C3 display

1. Click the Find... button on either the main window or the group window. The Locate System dialog box is displayed (see the following figure).

   

   If you use the button on the main window, Console Manager displays a list of all serviced systems, followed by the group they are in, if any. For example, salt [Cruet Group].

   If you use the button on the group window, Console Manager displays a list of the serviced systems in that group, without the group name. For example, pepper.

2. Click the serviced system you require from the list displayed, or enter its name in the space provided.
3. Click either Move Cursor and Dismiss, or on Blink:
   • Blink moves the field of view so that the specified icon is visible in your window. The selected system icon blinks several times on the display to highlight where it is located.
   • Move Cursor and Dismiss moves the field of view so that the specified icon is visible in your window. The selected system icon blinks several times on the display to highlight where it is located, the dialog box is dismissed and the cursor becomes positioned over the selected system icon.

   If you use the Find... button on the main window, and the group containing that system is not currently displayed, then Console Manager opens the group window before indicating the chosen system.
