CA_OPR_RETAIN_LOGS (# of logs to retain)

Applies to Windows, UNIX/Linux, z/OS USS

This variable specifies the number of CA NSM console log files to be maintained on the server. When the number of log files exceeds this setting, Enterprise Management removes log files (the oldest first) and their respective index files (.IDX and .LDX) until the threshold has been reached. If 0 is specified, no log files are purged. You are advised to review periodically the files in the directory Enterprise Management-install path/LOGS, and clean up as necessary. For z/OS USS, this environment variable is set in the $CAIGLBL0000/opr/scripts/envusr script.

Range: 0 through 1000
