VIOUNIT

This parameter specifies the unit name for VIO requests.

Syntax

VIOUNIT unitname

Parameters

unitname

z/OS unit name that is used for VIO allocation.

Default: VIO

Usage Notes

CA‑GSS requires certain work files sometimes. This is true especially during system initialization when back-leveled IMODs are being recompiled. If you have redefined your VIO unit name from the IBM-supplied VIO, specify the replacement value with the VIOUNIT parameter.
