Valid on UNIX/Linux, Windows, z/OS
The oprfix command repairs a corrupted Event Management log file. Log file corruption can sometimes occur when the file system becomes full. As a result, only part of a log record can be written out.
Log file corruption can also occur when the system is not shut down in an orderly fashion.
The oprfix command returns a 0 to indicate success and a 1 to indicate failure in repairing the log file.
