Reason:

An entered CANCEL command specifies a task with a TCB address tcbaddr that is either:

not in storage that can be addressed
not a doubleword boundary (ending in 0 or 8)
above the 16-megabyte line

The entered command was not processed.

Action:

Run a DISPLAY TASKS command to identify the TCB address that is associated with the task to be terminated. Then reenter the command specifying the TASK# or the TCB keyword with an appropriate task identification value.
