ALLOCATE – DDNAME ddname already allocated

Reason:

During processing of an ALLOCATE command, a request was made to associate a data set with a DDNAME that is allocated. The ddname in the message text is the DDNAME that was being allocated. The command processing is terminated.

Action:

Perform one of the following actions:

• FREE the DDNAME in question and reenter the command.

or

• Reenter the command specifying a different DDNAME.
