Create a Backup

As part of routine processing, create a backup of the repository periodically in the event of any disk corruption.

To create a backup of your repository, use SAMPJCL member D5IDBBAK. This job backs up all the relevant databases for Event Management.

If you have any corruption or you want to create a database, you can use the backup version to load in the desired entries. To reload the backup, use SAMPJCL member D5IDBRST.
