Calendars can determine a course of action that is based on when an event occurs. The event meets the general criteria and it also meets the date, day, and time criteria that are established through calendar profiles. The primary function of a calendar is identified in a naming scheme. CCS provides facilities to define and store multiple calendars.
Note: The use of calendars with Event Management is optional.
