Respond to System Outages

When a CA-L-Serv system experiences an outage, the following occurs:

• When a remote system fails, clients on other systems can continue to access and transmit data through CA-L-Serv.

When a host system fails, the outage affects all systems forwarding I/O requests to the host. Clients cannot access files that the host server is managing, no matter what system those clients run on.
