Specify the name of an initialization routine through the INIT parameter. CAIRIM validates this routine against specified parameters and then executes the routine. The initialization routine in turn invokes various CAIRIM facilities to install the operating system interfaces, such as SVC routines, LPA modules, and SMF intercepts. You can put the product initialization routine in a link list (LNKLST) data set, the CAIRIM STEPLIB, or a private library.
