Create a Rule for Self-Registration
Create a self-registration rule for your tenant.
Follow these steps:
- In the CSP console, click Policies, then click Domain.
- Click Realms.
The Realms page appears.
- Click the Edit icon to modify the OAuth realm that you created for this OAuth provider and tenant.
You created this realm in the step entitled Configure a Realm and Rule for the Tenant Domain.
The Modify Realm screen appears.
- In the Rules area, click Create.
The Create Rule screen appears.
- Enter a name and description for the rule. Name the rule to reflect the authorization scheme, provider and tenant, for example:
- OAuth_Google_SelfReg_Tenant1
- OAuth_Facebook_SelfReg_Tenant1
- In the Realm and Resource area, edit the Resource value by deleting the forward slash (/) character.
Important! The Resource value is now the asterisk (*) character only.
- In the Action area, select Authentication events.
- In the Action drop-down, select OnAuthAttempt.
- Accept the defaults for the remaining settings.
- Click Ok.
- Click Submit.
The system creates the self-registration rule for your tenant.
