Implementation Overview

The implementation of CA CSDP consists of the following two stages:

  1. Deploy and configure the CSDP platform. This step includes common, self-service capabilities to fulfill and provision a service.
  2. Deploy and configure the service. This step includes capabilities specific to the service. Monitoring-as-a-Service (MaaS) is offered as the default service with this release. For more information about MaaS, see the Monitoring Service Implementation Guide.

CA CSDP is deployed as a set of appliances on preconfigured machines with minimal configuration tasks. This deployment process reduces the time that is required to make the CSDP platform operational.
