Networking Requirements

Ensure that your network meets the following requirements:

CA CSDP requires a name resolution. It uses preconfigured hostnames and name resolution to communicate between components. A name resolution is required for both FQDNs and short host names.
Use a static IP address for CA CSDP, configure the IP addresses and host names before bringing up the servers.
Important! Avoid conflict by deploying only one instance on a network. The solution has preconfigured host names. If more than one instance of a host is deployed, the host must be on separate networks.
The CA Process Automation server must be able to communicate with the mail server to send and receive email messages from the solution.
Note: Ensure that port 25 is open on the firewall.
Create a separate private heartbeat network for the SQL cluster on the host.
