The service provider administrator adds CA CSDP servers for the Monitoring Service before offering the service to customers. The servers help to monitor the services. If the system detects a fault, it raises an alarm. The service provider attends to the alarm and takes corrective actions.
The service provider creates a customer, and adds a support department and region. The service provider subscribes the newly created customer to the monitoring service and adds the components listed in the table.
To add the components, use the Add Object offering from the service portal. Navigate from Home, Requests, My Services, CA_Monitoring Services, to Add Object.
The following table lists the components for CA CSDP. You can reference the table when adding the servers to the Monitoring Service.
