CA Virtual Performance Management uses the CA SystemEDGE agent and its application insight module (AIM) plugins for monitoring and managing a broad range of physical systems and virtual resources. CA NSM lets you manage the CA SystemEDGE agent and the AIMs that are distributed with CA Virtual Performance Management. Some CA VPM features are not available with version 4.3 of the CA SystemEDGE agent, and with version 5.0 running in legacy mode. Use version 5.0 of the agent in its regular operating mode to enable full CA VPM functionality.
