Appendix: Backward Compatibility

Backward Compatibility to previous releases is supported with limitations.

When previous release Managers are added to Web Console, some features/functionalities will not be available. Please use the respective manager Web Console to access available features.

1. When you are using 12.9 Web console with 12.8 Manager, the following limitations are applicable:
   1. Software Management that includes Express Action.
   2. The Deploy action for Computer Group members is not available.
2. When you are using 12.9 Web Console with 12.5 SP1 Manager, the following limitations are applicable:
   1. Software Management is not be available
   2. Computers and users is available with certain limitations.
