Resume Delivery Job

To resume a delivery job, that has been halted, right-click and select Resume DTS deliveries in the context menu.

The command can only be used for tasks where Halt deliveries can be used, that is, for deliveries to a staging library or for jobs to NOS-less agents using DTS. Furthermore, Halt deliveries must have been ordered.

If you try to resume a halted job delivery with a delivery calendar defined, a pop-up will present the choices:

• Yes: Resume will be ordered, the name of the delivery calendar will be grayed out on the Job Options tab, and the Use delivery calendar box will be unchecked.
• No: the intended Resume operation will be cancelled.

The Resume command can also be applied to job containers involving halted jobs of the type described above. If other jobs are in the container, they will not be resumed.

If you try to resume a halted job container with delivery jobs containing a reference to a delivery calendar, a popup will present the choices:

• Yes: Resume will be ordered, the name of the delivery calendar will be grayed out on the Job Options tab for all jobs containing a reference to a delivery calendar, and the Use delivery calendar box will be unchecked .
• No: the intended Resume operation will be canceled.
