You can convert proprietary *.urc files into common video formats (AVI and WMV), using the Replay Export tool, rcReplayExport.exe. Such recordings can be played when Remote Control is not installed. They can be played on many media player applications and on some DVD players. For example, you may want to compile a library of recordings for helpdesk purposes that detail complicated tasks that users need to perform. Users would be able to download and watch these recordings without the need for the Remote Control replayer.
To export WMV format files, the Windows Media Format runtime application may need to be installed, if it is not already present. This is available on the installation media, in the WindowsProductFiles_x86\WindowsMedia\wmfdist.exe folder.
