The Discovered Installations folder and corresponding pane list the assets that have installed the selected release of the product. When the asset management agent performs a signature scan on the computers and reports back the discovered software, it updates the discovered installations for each release with the assets that have installed the respective releases.
You can use the Filters portlet to refine your view of the discovered installations. Filtering options are as follows:
