Is_ReadOnly - Check the File for the 'Read Only' Attribute

Valid on NetWare, Symbian OS, UNIX, Windows and Windows CE

The Is_ReadOnly function checks the file for the specified attribute.

Function format:

Is_ReadOnly(filename as String) as Boolean

filename

Identifies a file path.

This function returns TRUE if the attribute is set; otherwise, returns FALSE.

Example:

If Is_ReadOnly(Argv(1)) Then
	print(Argv(1) + " indicates 'ReadOnly'.")
Else
	print(Argv(1) + " does not indicate 'ReadOnly'.")
