Export Files from the CMP File
To export files from the CMP File means to copy and extract the compressed files from the CMP file into an individual working directory (destination directory). The compressed files still remain in the CMP File.
To export files from the CMP File
- Select one or more files from the CMP File.
- Do one of the following:
- Click the Export files button
on the toolbar
- Choose Export from the Edit menu
- Right-click one of the selected files in the CMP File, and choose Export from the context menu
The Export dialog appears.
- You have the following options when you specify the destination directory:
- Choose the preset Destination Directory.
- If you want to change the prepended base directory, modify the path in the base directory input field, and click Change. The modified directories appear in the Destination Directory field.
- If you want to browse for another base directory, click the browse button (...). The Select Directory dialog appears. Choose a new base directory from the directory tree and click OK. The new base directory appears in the base directory input field on the Export dialog. Click Change. The modified directories appear in the Destination Directory field.
- If you do not want to put any base directory in front, clear the Prepend base directory check box. You have the option to specify another directory by clicking Browse Destination Directory. The modified directories appear in the Destination Directory field.
- Click OK.
The selected files are exported to the destination directory.
