Install the Xcelsius Client

Important! Xcelsius is available only for existing customers who already have this software. This software is not available to new CA Clarity PPM customers.

Install SAP BusinessObjects Xcelsius by downloading the .zip file from CA Support Online. This installation includes setup.exe, user guides, tutorials, and more.

Note: The .zip file is located under Release 14.1 on the CA Clarity PPM Download Center page.

Follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the CA Clarity PPM Product Page on CA Support Online.

    Note: You must log in before you can download.

  2. Click the Download Center link and complete the requested information to locate the .zip file: SAP BusinessObjects Xcelsius for CA Technologies 2008 SP6 FP3, Windows Only Client.
  3. Save the .zip file to a location on your computer and extract the contents.
  4. Run setup.exe. For example, located in the folder path: 
    C:\downloads\Xcelsius-SPx\DATA_UNITS\Xcelsius\setup.exe
  5. Follow the instructions on the installation wizard to complete the installation.

    If you accept all the defaults, Xcelsius is installed in:

    C:\Program Files\Business Objects\Xcelsius
