How to Work with Work Packages

Use the following process to work with work packages:

1. Create the contract.
2. Build the CWBS.
3. Define the control accounts.
4. Break down the deliverables and work within each control account.
5. For future work, create a planning work package.
6. For near-term work:
   • Create a work package.
   • Link it to a project or a project task.
