Create Processes for Requisitions

You can avoid the uncertainty of manual notifications by creating an automated notification process that identifies different stages in a requisition's lifecycle. An automated process can issue an notification whenever a new stage is reached.

Once you have created the process, it will appear in the list of available requisition processes. If the process is selected to manually start, to initiate the process, select the process and then click Start.

To create a process for a requisition

1. Open the requisition.

   The Requisition Properties page appears.

2. Click the Processes tab.

   The Requisition: Process Initiated page appears.

3. Click the Available subtab from the toolbar.
4. Click New.

   The Process Definition: Properties page appears.

   Note: See the Administration Guide for more information.

   Make sure that the process' object is set for requisitions.
