Group Access Rights

You can assign a collection of access rights to a group, then automatically assign those rights to a resource by assigning the resource to the group. There is no limit to the number of resources that you can assign to a single group.

For groups, you can assign rights at the:

• Instance-level to control access to object instances.
• OBS-unit level to grant access rights for an entire organization. This is a quick and recommended way.
• Globally to grant access to everyone.

In order to grant access rights to groups, you will need to access the group in the . Use the Groups page to find the group to whom you want to grant access rights.

You need the Administration: Access access right to manage group access rights.
