SQL Errors

This application performance activity lets you view current and historical data about application errors that are incurred as a result of abnormal SQL call return codes. You can use this information to determine which SQL errors are occurring most frequently. You can view all users and programs that encountered the error.

No performance trace activity is required for SQL error collection.

Note: You can create profiles in CA Detector to tailor SQL error collection by excluding SQL error conditions that are of no interest to you. Additional thresholds are also provided so that you can limit the amount of SQL error information you want retained. For more information about using the collection and reporting facilities of CA Detector, see the CA Detector documentation.
