Documentation Bookshelf

The Documentation Bookshelf is a free-standing HTML-based reference tool that provides easy access to the online help and core reference documentation for CA ERwin Data Modeler and CA ERwin Model Manager. The Bookshelf provides a "front end" user interface where you can open individual PDF Guides or online help files, or search a combined index for all deliverables.

The Bookshelf is automatically installed with the product unless you select not to install it in the installation wizard. Click the Bookshelf item on the Start menu to open the bookshelf.

A zip file containing the complete Bookshelf is also provided as a download from the Product Documentation Downloads area on the CA ERwin Data Modeler support page.

For more information on using the Bookshelf features, click the "Getting Started" link at the bottom of the main Bookshelf window. This topic introduces the layout of the Bookshelf, the various search options.

Note: The Bookshelf does not include the Template Language and Macro Reference Guide, or the ERwin Metamodel Reference Guide files from the Technical Documentation Series. To access these documents, open them from the \Doc folder where you installed the product. You can also open these PDFs from a shortcut on the Start menu.
