In earlier versions of CA ERwin Data Modeler type selection in the Complete Compare wizard resulted in hiding the selected item from the user, not strictly removing the object from the compare process. This resulted in no performance improvement for type filtering. In CA ERwin Data Modeler r7.3 type selection has been updated so that filtering is applied strictly according to the choices made in the Type Selection pane of the Complete Compare wizard.
