Oracle Cluster Editor - General Tab

Use the General tab to select the cluster type and cluster columns. The following describes the options for the General tab in the Oracle Cluster Editor dialog:

Cluster Type

Select this check box and select one of the following options for Cluster Type:

• Index Cluster
• Hash Cluster If you select Hash Cluster, you also have the following options:
  • Single Table
  • Number of Hash Keys Enter a value in the text box.
  • Hash Expression Enter a value in the text box.

Size

Enter a value in the text box and select a value from the drop-down.

Cluster Column

Datatype

Select a datatype for the cluster column from the drop-down.
