Oracle Cluster Editor

Use the Oracle Cluster Editor to add or edit Oracle clusters and cluster properties. The Oracle Cluster Editor is available only for Oracle 9i and 10g.

The Oracle Cluster Editor dialog includes the following tabs:

General Select cluster properties such as cluster type and size.

Storage Enter values for storage such as space usage, number transactions, and extents.

Options Select options such as parallel type, dependency, and cache type.

Index Use to create an Oracle cluster index.

Dependencies Displays any dependencies for the cluster.

Comment Add or edit comments for a cluster.

UDP Enter user-defined property values for a cluster.

The following describes all of the other options available in this dialog:

Clusters

Lists the available clusters in the current model.

Owner

Assigns a database Owner to the selected cluster.

New

Select New to create a new cluster. Opens the Create Cluster dialog where you can specify the name for the new cluster.

Rename

Renames a cluster. Opens the Rename Cluster <Cluster Name> dialog where you can assign a different name to the selected cluster.

Delete

Select a cluster from the Clusters list box that you want to delete, and click the Delete button.

Generate

Generates DDL for this object during Forward Engineering. If you do not select the check box, no DDL will be generated for this object during Forward Engineering.

DB Sync

Starts the Complete Compare task so you can synchronize the physical objects defined in your model with the information stored on the server.
