View Details for a Service

You can display details for a particular service from the Action column of the Services table.

Follow these steps:

1. In the Services table, select the row for a service, then click the detail icon in the Action column.

   A drop-down menu opens.

2. In the drop-down menu, click Service Details.

   A new page opens with detailed comparison score information for the service.

   

3. Work with the tree of comparison characteristics to display detailed information about the score. For example, you can open each node in the Quality node to view the scores for Serviceability, Availability, Functionality, and Effectiveness.
4. Work with the following options on the page:

   Service Comparison Data

   Display score details for internal, peer, or category comparison data.

   Weighting

   Change the weighting from "natural" to a custom weight.

   SMI Characteristics Definitions

   Review a definition for a specific SMI characteristic. Click the link to the left of the characteristic name to display the definition. You can display a definition for any characteristic or subcharacteristic in the SMI framework.

   SMI Confidence

   Review the confidence rating for a specific score. When you hover the mouse over a score number, a new window displays data for completeness (how many characteristics have SMI observations), total observations, and average observation age.

5. Click Back to close the details window and return to the Service Overview page.
