Licensing

You receive the licensing management page from Administration/Management.

The following list is displayed:

• Adapters
• Concurrent Users
• Contracts
• Metrics
• Contract Parties
• Reports
• Users

These elements are counted as follows:

Adapters

All adapters are counted. Data Loading Forms are not counted.

Concurrent Users

The Number of machines with logged in users in the last five hours that are still logged in are counted. Users that logged in with LOCALHOST are not counted.

Contracts

All contracts that are either Preliminary, Effective or Not effective, and Quick metrics are counted. Contract Templates, Service Level templates, Functions, SMI, and Quick Metrics are not counted.

Metrics

CA Business Service Insight counts the following metrics:

• All metrics in contracts that are Preliminary, Effective, or Not effective, as well as Quick metrics. This includes Quick Metrics that exist in contracts.
• All the Quick Metrics (standalone Quick Metrics)

Note: Prior to version 8.0, deleted metrics were counted.

Contract Parties

All contracts parties are counted except for those from internal contract parties that are used for Contract Template, Service Level template, Functions, SMI, Quick Metrics and internal templates.

Reports

All reports are counted except for Admin reports and reports on Quick Metrics. (These reports are created automatically).

Users

All users are counted except for internal users.
