Configure Cloud Commons Interaction Parameters

You can configure options that affect the way CA Business Service Insight interacts with Cloud Commons. Use parameters to fine-tune the delay and period between calculations to improve performance on your system. You can also specify parameters for the use of a proxy server.

Follow these steps:

  1. On the Administration menu click Site Settings, Advanced.

    The Advanced Settings dialog opens.

  2. Click the Cloud Commons Interaction node in the Configuration tree.

    The following options display:

    Cloud Commons Portal URL

    Specifies the URL of the Cloud Commons Portal.

    GlobalSMI.delay

    Specifies the delay after the system starts, to begin calculating SMI. Default: 100,000 milliseconds.

    GlobalSMI.period

    Specifies the time period between SMI calculations. Default: 8,640,000 milliseconds.

    keystorename

    Specifies the key store name for cc communication.

    keystorepassword

    Specifies the key store password.

    keystorepath

    Specifies the key store for location.

    proxyDomain

    Specifies the proxy server domain.

    proxyPassword

    Specifies the proxy server password.

    proxyPort

    Specifies the proxy server port to use.

    proxyServer

    Specifies the proxy server name when one is used in your environment.

    proxyUser

    Specifies the proxy server user name.

    REMOTE.Port

    The remote port for smi.cloudcommons.com.

    Default: 8443.

    REMOTE.Protocol

    Indicates the protocol for remote access to Cloud Commons.

    Default: HTTPS.

    REMOTE.Server

    The remote Cloud Commons server. This parameter must be set to smi.cloudcommons.com.

  3. Click the edit icon next to an option and enter the value.

    The edit icon changes to an update icon.

  4. Click update to save your changes.

    The value is refreshed.
