Export a Service Template File

If you plan to import service data manually to CA Business Service Insight using the InsightUtil feature, your CSV or XML file must be correctly formatted. You can export a service template file from CA Business Service Insight in either CSV or XML format, and then add your service data before importing it.

Follow these steps:

Use the following command:

InsightUtil /exporttemplate /format csv|xml /path <file_path>

The exported template file contains all necessary formatting information and some sample data.
