Contract Pricing

To create pricing models, CA Business Service Insight allows the user to create price lists, incentives and logic used to calculate revenues.

Contract Pricing is the process of assigning a price to the items that a provided service is comprised of, in the scope of the contract.

A contract price list may be comprised of several fixed and consumption-based price items, as well as of incentives in the form of bonuses and penalties. For example, when signing a contract, a price, terms of payment and legalities are agreed upon. When leasing a phone line, the agreed upon price can be both fixed and variable (consumption-based).

Any deliverable in the contract may be assigned a price.

The value of the price item my be a function of quality or consumption.

The contract price list is a viewing section located under the list of metrics in the Financial Section tab of the Contract Details page. When a metric is selected, the Price per Unit table that was defined for the metric opens. this table represents the contract price list.
