Unpacking Packages

Unpacking a package includes selecting the desired service definitions or contract templates from the package and (automatically) installing them as new templates including all of their Template Library entities.

To unpack a package:

  1. In the Packages page, click unpack button next to the package you want to unpack. The package contents are displayed.
  2. Select the desired service definitions and contract templates.

    Tip: Unpack all of the desired service definitions and templates at once.

    Caution: Unpacking a package is irreversible.

  3. Click Unpack. The selected package entities are entered into the catalog.
  4. If a package contains files with the same name as existing system entities, a dialog opens.
    1. Select the behavior for the response to a collision. Select:
      • Leave - to keep the existing system entities.
      • Rename - to change the name of the new entity.
    2. To cancel the upload, select the Cancel button on the dialog window.
