Delete a Translation Entry

Translation entries that do not require translation can be deleted from the Translation Entries page. If the same value is later sent again by the data source, a new pending entry is created.

Tip: This process can be automated using a Translation Script.

Note: To prevent entries not requiring translation from reappearing, click Ignore instead of Delete. For more information, see Ignore a Translation Entry.

To delete a translation entry

  1. In the Translation Entries page, perform a search to display the required translation entries in the search results area.

Note: You can also delete all entries for a specific table at one time.

  2. Select one or more translation entries and click Delete. A confirmation dialog is displayed. You may select entries with different statuses and destination types at one time.

Note: If the search results are displayed on multiple pages (as indicated by the page navigation links beneath the results), selections can be made on one page at a time only. Click Select All button to select all entries displayed on the current page, and to clear all selections

  3. Click Yes. The translation entry is deleted.
